Trash & Recycling Collection
Trash and recycling collection in the Borough is provided by Waste Management. Please visit https://wm.com/ or call (800) 866-4460.
Trash collection for Ingram Borough is every Wednesday (excluding holidays). All items must be placed at the curb no later than 6 a.m. on the day of collection. After collection, any carts used for trash or recycling should be removed no later than the evening of your collection day.
Waste Management observes the holidays listed below. In the event that your collection day falls or or after one of these observed holidays your service will be delayed by one day on that week only.
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
By recycling everyday items like those shown below, raw materials, time, energy and money are saved. Plus the recycled materials become new products – if you recycle an aluminum can today, it could be back on the shelf as a new one in 60 days – and the cycle continues.
Recycling will be collected every-other-week. Place only the acceptable recyclables shown below together in your recycling cart or bin – no sorting needed.
Containers that held food should be rinsed free of food debris and liquid.
Do not bag your recyclables – empty recycling directly into your bin or cart.
