First Annual Light Up Our Borough Celebration

Ingram Civics Club proudly announces Ingram’s first annual Christmas Light Up Our Borough celebration, from November 21st through December 21st. Dust off those lights and decorations stuffed in your basement and attics, and get out and show your community no one can out‑Griswold your home. Win prizes and feel community pride. A winner will be announced December 23rd.

Trick-or-Treating and Halloween Parade

October 28th, 1:00 – 4:00 PM, starting at the Ingram Borough Building

Ingram’s annual Trick-or-Treating and Halloween Parade will be held on Saturday, October 28th. Activities will begin at the Ingram Borough Building. Come there to display your costume starting at 1:00. Judges will mingle within the crowd and award the winners of our costume contest at 1:30 p.m. The costume winners will be announced over a loud speaker and, after receiving their ribbons, the winners will lead the parade of participants down West Prospect Avenue towards Ingram Avenue. A special treat will await the children as they reach Ingram Avenue and continue on their way to begin trick-or-treating, which will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Pumpkin Painting in the Park

October 14th, 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Foster Park

Stop down to Foster Park where kids, accompanied by an adult, can choose a pumpkin from our “patch” on the large softball field. Kids can then use paint to decorate their pumpkin and take it home with them! Remember to wear paint-friendly clothing. Activity is free of charge and sponsored by Ingram Borough.

Bike Rodeo

A bike rodeo for kids of all ages will be held on Saturday, August 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Crafton Municipal Building parking lot. Events will include bike safety, bike skills, helmet fitting, free helmets (while supplies last), as well as hot dogs and refreshments. Kids should bring their own bikes and helmets, and be accompanied by parents.

A Presentation on Eastern Coyotes

Come learn about the Eastern Coyotes and the role they play in our ecosystem. The presentation will educate us on the Eastern coyote’s traits, habitat and some common misconceptions. A presentation on eastern coyotes by Wildlife Conservation Officer/Pennsylvania Game Commission Officer Tom Kline.
